I have actually started collecting robots - in an attempt to satisfy my craving of the orderly world - a world that would be so organized and swift. I am though sadly not a robot (Sniff Sniff) - and have been silently repeating this to myself over the course of a year.
I am on a new journey - one that is filled hopefully with purpose and motion which can be felt. I hope to feel moments more deeply instead of just crossing them off my to-do-list (a disgusting crutch which I refuse to give up- EVER).
In order to live my life more fully, I have taken on a mini project which I hope to post for you in a month. It's a simple exercise of gratitude and reflection. For one month, you write down 5 things (small or big) that you are thankful for. I started two days ago and find this simple exercise makes me slow WAY down. And getting me to slow down is nothing short of a miracle. (writes the girl that's had 4 cups of coffee and is still up at 1:59 in the morning)
